My friend and I always think of Folly as our place to put in the boat, at the very nice and friendly public boat landing, and finding a private place to beach the boat where our little dog can explore and play while we read, walk, swim, and just rest. Folly has a reputation as a people friendly beach where is found ample access to the beach, County Park at the West end of the island, County Park maintained Center St Pier, restaurants and other gathering places. For the many reasons mentioned before, and because of its close proximity to downtown Charleston, Folly Beach should continue to be a grand place to own property, residential or to visit.
