Despite working in pandemic era market Maison Real Estate had the best year in our history in 2021, and 2022 looks to be shaping up to be another record year despite the inventory shortage.
The inventory for single-family detached homes in the area is down 53.2% year over year from 2021. The average time on the market is also down. Homes are selling on average in just 25 days which is about half of the pre-pandemic rate.
"We didn't really lock down that much during COVID and our schools remained open" said Leslie Turner broker in charge for Maison. "COVID's permanently changed the way people work and want to live, so they're choosing to live in the Charleston lifestyle"
