Jennifer Davis is an accomplished top producing broker whose primary focus is representing residential and commercial clients in the National Historic Landmark District of Charleston, which encompasses most of Charleston’s downtown peninsula.

The downtown neighborhoods of Charleston are distinctively different in character. Jennifer’s comprehensive knowledge of each neighborhood and the trends within, enables her to guide her clients to the neighborhoods and individual properties within that will best complement their lifestyles and best achieve their investment goals. She provides insight into locations where the investments are solid and where there are opportunities to add value. Her keen analytical eye is unparalleled in pairing investors with opportune properties.

Many of her clients are individuals for whom discretion and professionalism are of the utmost importance. She is well versed in the business intricacies of negotiating and marketing distinctive properties.

With 20 years of experience in buying, selling, and restoring properties for clients and for her own investments in the Charleston market, Jennifer is able to share her knowledge and her connections with her clients. Clients deserve a broker who is knowledgeable about the architectural and cultural history of Charleston, as well as how to navigate the City’s Architectural Review Board and Zoning Board. Jennifer has a roster of restoration contractors and a highly vetted list of attorneys and accountants who can advise on historic conservation easements, tax credits, and 1031 exchanges.

Prior to joining the Maison team, Jennifer was the owner/founder of Domicile, a Charleston real estate brokerage firm, she also founded of Ibis, an historic real estate development investment partnership. Under Jennifer’s stewardship, Ibis won the prestigious South Carolina Honor Award for Historic Preservation. Her projects have been featured in magazines such as the Wall Street Journal, House Beautiful, The New York Times and Home Style. She has served as a board member of The South Carolina Coastal Conservation League, The Palmetto Conservation Foundation and the Historic Beaufort Foundation.

Jennifer lives with her husband in an historic house in Ansonborough on a cobblestone street where she raised her four children. She grew up in Camden South Carolina, attended Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Virginia, and has lived and owned houses in La Jolla California, Beaufort, South Carolina and New York City.


She attended the New York School of Interior Design; while there she acquired skills that she uses today to help clients envision how to meld their aesthetic style into new homes. She is the author of three children’s books (Workman Publishing) that have been translated into six languages and that continue to be read worldwide.

She finds Charleston to be one of the world’s best cities for traversing by bike, which she does on every sunny day!
